snowed in at pinnacle creek

I have been snowed in at pinnacle creek. had to go thurs nite to edinburg,va to pick up a 32ft dbl slide out camper. we got to the campground at 3pm fri and set up camper, buy than there was 7 inches of snow on the ground. we could not get out fri nite due to other stuck trucks and cars, plus the power went off fri nite at 8 and will not be back on till xmas. sunday gorden with the backhoe spent 6hrs clearing a path for 10 of us to get out, by then it was 8pm. and yes I have video.

Gordan Lafferty (spelling) Who lives on the end of Wagon Wheel Rd... He is a super nice guy!

if it would not have been for gorden, we will still be there right now.

Glad you got dug out & back home alright.I figured that's where you were. I remembered you saying you was going up 1 weekend to set up the new camper before the New Years Day ride. You think that much snow will be gone enough to have a good ride by then ?

yes it should be gone but they got more comming jan 2 and 3rd

I'm glad I left out at noon on Friday. We were going to stay but if I would have got snowed in till today or whatever which i thought might happen. Melissa might not be to happy with me...

About the power in the area --- I am hearing after Christmas to New Years. So if your headed this way, I would call ahead.
Also, you can forget about buying a generator around here ---- SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE

If we ride new years weekend I am gonna take my honda 2000 gennie with me and extra happy juice.
