| Harpers Ferry, WV. Didnt think to put in the WV part. I am definitely far from most everyone here... in any case, I tend to drive for hours to ride anyways.. I'd like to do a camp out on the trail sometime this year if anyone else does that.
Launch22.. how old is your co-pilot? Mine is 10, hasnt got to ride yet though.

| Welcome, The wife is from the Martinsburg area. A couple times when we visited family, we went to Harpers Ferry. LT was asking about Taskers Gap a few days ago so make sure and let us know how it goes. I was there a few years ago on two wheels, have not been on four yet. | |

| My neighbor always talks about Carlisle, he is a big GTO guy, but I havent been. I'm not sure about the damn from wv,va,md. Sad, but I really dont know that much about my own town. We actually live about 15-20 from Harpers Ferry, but address is still Harpers Ferry. Live closer to Charlestown, near the Shenendoah river. I've been to Taskers Gap (GW Park) a lot, once last year, and several times about 10 years ago. It eats rims for lunch. I only go now because thats where our meetup.com group goes. Destroyed an ITP mudlite there last time. 6 holes in one tire, something like 10+ tire plugs. Thats what happens when they ask you to set the pace. Can't let anyone thing you are wuss, right? Itching to ride. Wish I lived closer to HM. | |

| Like I said, the last time at Tasker's Gap we were on two wheels and only saw atv's so I just assumed UTV's were not allowed. I guess I thought this because first I didn't see any and second the bridges to cross the low water areas were narrow. I heard the further away from the parking area you got, the less rocky it was. Couldn't tell you .... we didn't make it that far!!!! I could not flat foot my bike with both feet and it was like playing pin ball. | |
