| Picked up this Motorola CDM1550 LS+ radio from a freind and was thinking of having it programmed with FRS channels. Any one have this setup and is it worth installing.[img] [/img] | |

| Neuromax was in the Ashland campground and I rode all the way out to the entrance ( past the resturant ) , thru trees , thru mountain and I was just starting to hear a little static ....... much more range and quality of sound. | |

| Even the best of the handhelds (the ones rated at 30+ miles) only pick up 1/2-1 mile at most in the woods of WV. These will pick up several miles away depending if you are in a valley or ridge. They blow the handhelds out of the water. | |
