| Finally... mid engine mount, 2 motor options 800 and either 990 or 1000, racing seats, 3 different key modes like the Sea Doo watercrafts, Fox 2.0 shocks... A little bigger than the RZR but smaller than the Teryx. | |

| I'm going to have a tough decision to make. New 2011 RZR-S 850 with power steering or the new Can-Am Commander X 990... I'm getting something new but it's going to be a tough choice... | |

| I like those seats! They look comfee!! I can't wait for it to come in! Do you guys really think you would need that 1000 engine? I have always thought my stock rzr had plenty of power for what we do on the trails. |

| Kinda wonder if the national and state parks will allow a 1000cc machine on the trails ? May have to wait a while and see what happens ? | |

| Yamaha, Polaris, Kawasaki, Can-Am... All of them will have a 1000cc or more machine in the next couple of years.
A 1000cc's in a SXS is real close to the power to weight ratio as 4-wheelers like the Can Am Renegade and the Polaris 850 XP.
Look at the Seadoo jetski's.... 260hp supercharged...
Thats why from what I have heard Can Am is doing the 2 models, one a 800cc machine and the other a 990 or whatever with the 3 different keys for different power modes. That system works great on there jetski's.
For me, I would love the power. | |

| I wonder if it will have power steering? I was shocked to see the new RZR's with power steering. I have always thought mine was real easy to steer. Hopefully Can Am will not have it. It could be something to break down on the trail.
Polaris may turn up the horsepower to get somewhat closer to Can am but I doubt they will ever outrun them from stock. |

| I talked to Travis at Performance East and he told me the price is real close to the RZR S. He indicated that it would only be like 300 dollars over the S. If thats the case then............. |

| I thought about holding out for the Canned Ham, but I'm sold on the RZR S. I think the 990cc will have a very high price tag. And, I wonder if they will have the suspension travel that the S has? It's just hard for me to believe that it will have the suspension travel, and a stronger running engine than the S for only a few hundred $ more. I mean look at the prices of the Grizzly vs. brute force, vs outlander. I would like to know all the specs on it, along with prices. Guess we will find out soon, if they are hitting the showroom this summer. | |

| No telling how big these things are going to get. Few years from know we will probably have 1200 cc/turbocharger RZRs, completing with some other brand with the new 1400 cc 4 cylinder job. | |

| It does look like a Polaris. I'm sure it will be strong though. If I was out at Pismo hitting dunes that rob you of speed and power, I'd definitely want the bigger engine. However, the riding that I do...up in WV, etc. I barely ever use the 800cc's in the RZR. If anything, in those really tight and technical spots, having a ton of power could make it harder to feather/control. My Outlander and Renegade had really sensitive throttles and I remember hitting it a bit too hard a few times and it would whip ya. When the 500cc Renegades came out, people didn't think they would sell, but they do!!! It is easier to control for most people on trails. I have had 4 adults in my RZR4S and that still had great power to get up hills and clip down the trail. I'm not sure having another 25hp would have made it more fun LOL. The suspension is still amazing on these S models and the extended 4 model just floats. I can't wait to see one in person!!! | |
