Memorial Weekend Around Welch

Update on the Welch police during this past Memorial Weekend.

I believe several are familiar with the Sterling Drive Inn , the law was setting there waiting on people to come out on the road. They were making sure no drunks or under age kids where on the road. They also was watching your speed & it had to be under 25mph. You had to ride on the burm as well. I didn't see or hear of anyone getting a ticket, but the police was close by.

Were they checking passenger ages in the sxs's?

We ate there Wednesday for lunch and they ask where we rode from. They said all the logging has a lot of trails closed off and the atv traffic has been less than normal.
