| Wild Willy's Atv Rezort
is building an atv "resort" for fellow Hatfield McCoy Indian Ridge trail riders in West Virginia. I am located in McDowell, WV, just 1.5 miles from Ashland, and 1/2 mile from the Hatfield McCoy Trails. I will offer cabin rentals with all amenities. Each cabin will sleep at least four.Cabins will feature wifi, cable tv, kitchenette with cookware and utensils, charcoal grill, and much more. Our campground will also feature an atv washing station, picnic tables, even a hot tub! I will have camper sites and tent sites as well as cabin rentals. Each cabin faces a trout creek rich with wildlife. Easy access in and out of the campground with a wide asphalt road making it convenient for pulling your trailer or camper. We will also sell passes to the Hatfield McCoy trails. Wild Willy's ATV Resort will be the LAST RESORT you'll need to make our four-wheeling vacation unforgettable!

| With cabins like that, I may be able to get the wife down there to ride now and then. Plus, after Ashland books up, there will be even more places available so everyone can come to the group rides that want to. | |

| Ashland is still my destination for riding in WV though. Next time I am there we will have to go check out Wild Willys though! |

| Ashland Resort was probably $2.5 million to build if not more. If something similar was coming near the H/M trails I would think we would know about it. I picture this being like the Skyland place near Hilltop.
I really hope it's a place with good competition for Ashland.

| Well Dave the Manager at Ashland was telling me about it a few months ago that the guy was coming to him asking him how much this and that cost on work there and was getting ideas etc.I don't think it will be anything nearly as big as Ashland IMO and from the pictures of the cabins there not actually log cabins like at Ashland they look to be T 1-11 siding. There is no website yet but it is on Face book. | |

| Here is what I received from Willy.
Bobby, We are in McDowell, which is about 1/2 mile past Jake's Grocery on the right. I plan to be fully open by spring, but if I can get these cabins fully built before then, I'll go ahead and start renting them out. I'm just a one man show, nothing huge. Plan to start with about10 cabins and a few tent spots and camper spots. We've got a great location and a good wide road leading in and out. I really appreciate your willingness to spread the word. I'm going right now to check out your site. If you come down my way, stop by and check out what I'm doing, tell me what you think. Thanks Willy

| Well maybe the hobby that we do there needs more places to stay like Ashland. I think as it grows it may be necessary for more places. Yes it will be tough to compete with Ashland but I think in the long run there will be plenty of business to be had for all. Good Luck to them all! |

| It will be nice to have something with easier access for folks with big campers or RV's. | |

| I'm sure he is not trying to compete with Ashland Resort but I'm sure he will do good if his prices are reasonable and it will be close enough to Ashland for our Spring & Fall rides that members can stay there as we always need more cabins. | |

| If he had some year round camper spot it would be nice. Something easier to get to than Hilltop or that offered year around water... | |

Of course he will be competing unless they get together and do some price fixing, only way to make it in this economy. But either way, it will be a great addition to have more options. |

| We'll have to do (at least) a drive by and maybe meet Mr. Willy when we go up for the Turkey Trot. Always nice to check out new things up there! | |

| He can compete with Ashland, very easily. Ashland has been great to me in the past and I am very happy with the facilities however they have declined in the past year or two. The showers are a great example. When they are broke, fix them! Also Ashland jacks the rates up for holidays and requires a 3 night stay on holidays. To me that is just not reasonable. | |

| I like Ashland but I hope having more options to stay in the area makes the prices a little more affordable. If they were maybe we could come down more often. | |
