| Just installed a CB in my Old Rhino! I have alot of engine noise coming in over the speaker and the same is happening with my am/fm! I don't have a problem when I play my IPOD or the CD player. What can I do to eliminate the noise? I heard that it may be the spark plug? Both are grounded all the way back to the battery! | |

| Maybe it's something to do with your ground wire or lack of one I don't have a clue but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express one time | |

| you need to go to radio shack and get a noise reducer which is more or less a coil of wire it might help even if you have to put 2 or 3 in line ,but for every one you use your volum goes down .also there was a noise supressor years ago that you could put on your spark plug wire hope this helps | |

| You can easily make your own noise suppressor like I did for my street bike. You need some 14 ga wire, a 1/2" chain quick link, some tape, and a capacitor. Parts First layer of winding (Takes about 14 feet of wire) Continue winding with multiple layers Solder 4700 mfd capacitor to the input side of the wire, other end goes to ground Tuck it all in a plastic project box Wal la a heavy duty noise suppressor. It will take that alternator whine right out. | |
