| no problem with my plastic 3/8 thick and i rock crawl and do everything no problems. the metal ones will hang you up and turn you the way you don't want to go. rocks slide over plastic they dig in metal. have hit rocks pretty hard no dents in plastic but have them in metal one i took off. |

| Tbone, get the plastic ones. Aluminum will stick to rocks and get hung up. The plastic is supposed to glide over stuff, and you need help at that. I will have plastic when my stockers give out. | |

| ok thanks guys! I may try out the plastics. When you go to pay they sure are proud of them! They are going to be 300 dollars over the alum skids. I would get EMP but he doesnt have any yet. Oh and by the way......that Rhino dont want to see the top speed testing from yesterday and torque curves! |

| Hey man just wanted to tell you I got a chance to test out my 3/8 factory UHMW skids. And they worked out really well. I slid over several trees and rocks without any issues. The real test for me will be Haspin this coming weekend in the rocks, but from what i did Friday I can't imagine I will have any issues.
Yeah they are proud of them for sure, and there isn't really anyone that make a comparable product for the Commander. So for now I can't see the price coming down anytime soon. Make sure when you order them you let them know you are a member on the commander forum, sometimes they will do discounts based on that. | |

| Thanks for the reply!! I have a call into them. I am going to try to get a bottom line on what they want for the skids I want. My discover card is trying to run away and hide for this transaction! |

| Look up J&J Industries on eBay. I love mine... They are 1/4 thick. I got front and rear A-Arm skids, and front/rear differential skids shipped for $175.00 | |

| I destroyed 2 plastic skid plates in just 3 rides. The second busted plate I had a hole the size of a basketball right under my motor. No more plastic for this ole boy. EMP skids for 2 years now and no more problems. Don't worry Tbone, plenty of guys driving a RZR will be more than happy to pull you home should you destroy something. | |

| I know mine took about 5 days shipping to get to Southern Indiana. So may 6 days to you at most. Let us all know what you think when you get them. Heading to Haspin in a few hours to give mine a work over :) | |

| T whatever is behind the aluminum ones will get bent or broke too. THe plastic is the ultra high moleculure weight, (ballistic material) it is far better than aluminum. | |
