| Hey all looking to you all for some guidance here. I am swapping out some of my suspension and want to pick up some wheel travel for my commander. Lord knows I dont need any more width for the right coast riding. Anyone have suggestions on how to pick up more travel + a little clearance?
I need more clearance (not much maybe 2 - 3 inches) and more wheel travel. I would like to get away from the factory spindle or knuckle in the front as well. Maybe add an additional 2 inches to the rear trailing arm to push the rear back 2" or so. Seems like I am always dragging my bed coming out of the deep holes.
Am I looking at all this the right way? Anyone have suggestions?

| Not sure what all has hit the aftermarket yet for the Commander, but I'm pretty sure there are lift kits for it already. Won't improve suspension travel, probably decrease it, but it will give you more clearance. | |

| Thanks Tiger, I have decided to try out a CATVOS lift. Not doing the monster 6" lift since I trail ride quite a bit. I am doing the 4" lift. Main thing for me was moving my rear wheels back a few inches and keeping the width gain minimal with more ground clearance. The travel stays the same but I just couldn't do a long travel kit. the width was a killer for me. The smaller lifts for the commander just dont work out like they do on the rzr and rhino's. The 2.5 - 3" lifts bind your axles pretty bad. Had one on mine and took it right off.
I will report on how it works out once I get everything installed and done.

| Always heard good stuff about the CATVOS lifts. Please do let us know how it works. | |
