| no.. do not use your CB antennas.. you want something that will support 450-470mhz.. I think CB's run in the 29mhz range.. you will get poor transmission and probably blow the finals.
Search Ebay, or go to local radio supplier for a UHF mobile antenna that supports 450-470 mhz.
I used the following type of bracket and cable: http://cgi.ebay.com/Tram-3-4-NMO-L-Bracket-Antenna-Mount-w-PL-259-UHF-Male-/220402678053?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item335105f925
And an antenna similar to this: http://cgi.ebay.com/UHF-450-470-MHz-NMO-QUARTER-WAVE-WHIP-ANTENNA-/250828046993?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a66844291
hope this helps | |

| LilRed, you either have to buy the cable and program to do it, not really an easy thing if you don't know what you are doing. Or you find a ham radio shop/guy who can do it for you. Some ebay sellers will do it for you if you ask. | |
