| Question,now that I have a stereo and HID head lights can I just upgrade the battery or do I need to upgrade the alternator/stator as well. | |

| good question. i did the dual battery install never thought about the alternator. | |

| the stock battery should handle that fine. charge your batter over night and then run it and see if the light flashs. |

mine use to do that....now I keep my battery on a 1amp battery tender....and had no more problems....agm batteries have to stay fully charged . The rzr only has a 25 amp alternator..and if you let a agm battery get to discharged it takes longer for it to charge back up...... | |

| Maybe thats what it is Bubba,my rzr is a 2009 I will try that first before I go and buy a new battery.Thankd for the info. | |

| ok, probably a dumb question. i have the Polaris dual battery set up. does it make any difference which battery i hook up the battery tender too? | |

| I have two red top optima batteries. It is really too much but if u change batteries I would recommend one larger than stock size lithium ferrous battery. I done some checking n they r about 250.00 a piece but last 7 to 10 years n r pretty much indestructible, the best part is the weight 8 pounds versuses close to 40. Just a suggestion! | |
