| It was a Ducks Unlimited camo before. I bought a set of used plastics for $50, and painted them. I wasn't gonna ruin the camo finish. | |

How do you like the J-Strong doors? I found a brand new set on craigslist for $215.00 shipped to the door!

What kind of paint and did you have to anything to the plastic besides sanding? I am wanting to change the color on mine!

| I used Base coat-Clear Coat automotive paint. I just used a 3M scotchbrite pad and roughed it up all over, make sure you prep it good!! Getting the paint to stick to this plastic is hard. Lots of people use Krylon Fushion, it will stick, but it is not a "shinny" finish at all, and if you spill gas, or anything on it....It will come off. | |

| No problem, I have heard the camo finish makes a better surface to paint on, but I didn't want to ruin mine....Cause once that paint is on there, no mo camo!!! And Yamaha wants over $950 for a new set of camo plastics!!!! | |
