| Here is a picture of the Polaris bumper with the EMP high mount bracket. It is very well made and mounts securely. I really like the high mount location, makes accessing the winch much easier. The winch is a Rugged Ridge 4500lbs available at most anywhere. It has great specs and cost ~$200, hard to beat. In this picture it was put to the test. Had to winch up a 100 yard steep rocky trail at Brimstone. |

| Love my EMP bumper and Viper winch. Only had to use winch one time though, that was to pull someone out of a mud hole. I think the EMP bumpers gives you the best protection up front. | |

| I like my Viper winches so far. One time it wouldn't work and I shook the wires under the dash and it was ok. I use it alot. My only compaint on it is the remote. The wires on the remote wore in half where they go in the bottom of the handle. There is no rubber boot there to keep them from wearing in half. From what I've seen, the Viper is the only affordable winch to buy. I built my own winch bumper. I will never mount a winch down low in the factory location ever again. I've went through a few winches, and seen many (even Warn) bite the dust because of water getting inside. Mount it on the bumper and forget about it. roughneck! And | |
