| Bush all I can say is tripple wall is better than double wall ,don,t burn any wood with nails .Don't beat on pipe to try and clear a stopped up section .The bottom clean out is the first to go bad .In the long run put up a cinder block flue with a liner and clean out it'll last more than 15 years and you can burn it hot enough to burn the flue out with out burning your pipe up.Been there done that hope this helps | |

| this liner will be going inside a masonry chimney with clay liner. i have had a few chimney fires over the years and the liner is cracked in a lot of places. the chimney is close to 30 years old. |

| Bush from what you are showing and what they are saying looks like you got it covered .What I had was the complete flue made out of tripple wall pipe ,after 10 years it was dangerous, replaced with flue block and linner . | |

| Bush just make sure your pipe is high enough off the roof so that you don't get a downdraft. As Gary said the set up looks good. | |

| Had a SS liner put in after a chimney fire about 3 yrs ago, just make sure the top 12 to 15 feet is wrapped with insulation, as it gets cooler at the top, that is where the problems form. you can get your own cleaning brushes that hook to your drill and clean it yourself, I do mine every year. The hotter you burn, the better and the better hard wood you burn the better.... NO PINE, that will destroy it | |

| It seems to me that someone is great at marketing these stainless liners! They are so thin I would never trust one. If you are relying on something this thin I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. The ONLY flue I would use is a tile with masonary chimney.
