| aight yall i have finally come up with an diea for a radio speaker set up i was just wondering what speakers everyone recommends..i was going to go with 2 6x9's just looking for thoughts opinions and what now..... | |

| Some guys have some JL audio marine speakers and they are pretty nice. They sound excellent. Thats the speaker I would try. |

| As long as it marine grade you should be fine , 6x9 would have much better bass sound than a 6" , its just space is why most end up with 4" or 6 " speakers . | |

| I use the polk db-651 6 1/2 speakers there marine and fit into tight spaces.and they sound good!! they are coaxle and dont have the bass of a 6x9,but they do perform!! check them out. | |

| Ok say I was to buy two 6x9's. Is there any way to just run an ills or mp3 player with the speakers without running a head unit?? | |
