Members only forum Deleted

I have decided that we don't need a members only forum anymore since you have to be a member to get on the site and that's the way it will stay so I'm going to start moving all of the threads in this forum to the Misc Chat Forum so if you moderators will start helping me we can can get it do much faster.

Also Elmo had a suggestion that we need a Forum for after market parts cross reference like HUmp having a replacement for a u-joint.I don't know if we would have that many different items for a separate forum for that or not I like just making it a sticky for the particular machine it's on Forum so if you guys think we need one I can add one let me know by voting and leaving your thoughts

Sounds like a good plan to me. I also thing the cross reference is a great idea. Just put a sticky in each machine heading and when there is a cross reference someone can post it up. I think we should keep the thread cleaned up with no back and forth talk in it and just use it as a reference only.

Sounds like a real good idea to me. It's a real pain to search for parts information on just about any site I've ever been on. A dedicated section would be nice.

I enjoy the humor and the antics of the midget and Tbone defending everybody elses honor but the tech section sounds like a good idea and all feedback good and bad about each item should be attached in someway to reference items mentioned for each utv!

Bobby, Just an idea. In this forum can you make sub forums? Example: Engine, suspension, electrical, Body/protection, and so on. That way folks looking for something could narrow down what they are looking for. Just thinking, (yea I know thinking gets a guy in trouble )

I like these ideas and have mentioned what Rick is talking about before but it has to be topic dedicated to be able to search the topic heading for the topic information. I have saved bookmarks like this on my browser to see not just cross references but also any review, links to manufatures, ect on a topic and it is nice. When I am thinking of adding something to my machine (say doors) it's nice to have all of the options & reviews in 1 place to look at to aide in that decision of which way to go.

http://www.vstrom.info/Smf/index.php Bobby, here is a link to another forum I used to belong to when I had my street bike. Check it out it has a really nice layout. As an example scroll down to the thread "Gadgets" and open it. You will see 4 or 5 sub boards at the top.
