upper a arm

Seem like it's a regular maintenance, like oil change, as far as the front a arm bushings and ball joints. Checked a couple days ago and I need to replace the bushings and a ball joint on the drivers side. The upper a arm bolt is a pain. In my case I have to remove part of the skid in order to get the bumper off. And then the front plastic clip that holds the headlights. A tip I picked up on the other forum in order to avoid all that work is this. Cut a hole in the plastic clip that lines up with the bolt and then you can slide the bolt out through there with out removing all that stuff. In my case I had to remove some metal from the bumper also. Here's a couple of pics.

That is a great idea. Wish I would have thought about that when I was putting my lift on. I have to pull that bolt multiple times to get all my adjustments right.

I will do this to mine. I can pull the bolts out a little and move the arm around enough to get the bolt out without taking the front off, but it sure is a pain.
