| Love my new doors, but can anyone tell me what they have done to stop them from rattling? | |

| I bent the bracket by the latch. Just enough to put the latch in a slight bind. Works great, I have to readjust from time to time but its the best I have come up with so far. | |

| I used some zip ties on the bottom tube to keep it from rubbing there.I will look at the bracket and see what I can do. I am shocked no one else is having this problem, they have sold a few doors now. Please chime in and let us know your tricks on how to make the noise go away. | |

| I had mine adjusted really well, and almost no rattle... but at the fall ride I took a pretty good hit on a tree with the drivers door(thats what you get for following a Rhino thru tree's).. I got squeaks galore now.. | |

| I've got the pro armor doors, and while similar, the latches are different. The top dog latches look beefier, but the female side of the latch is a little looser fit wise. Not sure what you could find or use, but my doors have a plastic grommet insert in the female side of the latch. You have to really have the doors line up properly to get them to latch, but mine do not rattle. They also hit the side bar beside the seat which puts them in a slight bind which may also help keep them from rattling. That well probably rub some paint off down the road, but not a big deal as long as they don't rattle. I'll try and get a pic in a but of my latch. Might be helpful to see. | |

| Its honestly putting it in a little bit of a bind that is what keeps it from having the room to move and vibrate ... A nice wide Zip on the lower tube at the latch stops the rattle there , Some have put rubber all the way round , some have filled the voids ... Its basicly what you want to look at as to how much rattle you can stand .... | |

| All the doors i have looked at on everybody RZR's seemed to have the rattle issue and it looked like it would drive you nuts after a while and wondered if you noticed it all the time or what? Lots of ideas to get rid of noises that should work on all type doors. I've been noticeing the Motoactv doors are lower for the arm laying on the door riders which look more comfortable, the hinge is further back making the opening a little wider. Whats everybodys feedback on these Motoatv doors? Also looked like it would be so much easier filling up the fuel tank with these door! | |

| I put a thick piece of weather stripping on the bottom part of the frame where it meets the door frame. You can see it on one of the pics I put a link to. I carry a couple extra pieces with me incase it comes off during a ride. It puts enough pressure shoving out on the door to keep it from rattling. | |

| Ok Groundhog , you get the best idea so far , cause that is exactly what the problem is that the latch is rattleing in the hole ... but would like to take your idea just a little futher and take it all the way across as you can see on yours , the weld is breaking on mine and yours t the lower tube ..... | |

| Doors are going to rattle sooner or later. The cage and frame are flexing a little bit all the time while you ride. Add in the fast hard hits when you are really getting with it, and you will start getting squeeks and rattles. My homemade doors were quiet, and I was so proud. Then the paint wore off in the hinges, and where I pin them shut. Now it's a shot of wd-40 before every ride to get rid of the squeeks. Install some sort of stereo, that helps best. | |
