My ride today

Well, had a few issues this morning, ended up getting new hub for trailer, so maybe next trip to 5 points.

I did manage to get in about 38 miles, found a few new old roads and got to try out my new phone/gps here is the result

My wifes getting a new phone with the GPS on it can't wait to see how it works. I hope it works like that, thats nice.

What phone, and what app? Hump still has a flip phone, and all the welfare peoples in wal mart laugh at me when I pull it out. They all got them fancy computer phones our tax money bought for them.

Glad you got some miles in today. I have that app on my phone, will have to try it.

yea, not on welfare...yet... have a samsung infuse phone and that was off the GPS Essentials App... have several I plan to try

Thanks Elmo. I've had two Samsung phones, and they are tough as nails. One got dropped several times, and the one I have now got dropped and even got soaked in beer one night. It quit working for about 12 hrs, once it sobered up it was working like new again.

LOL.. I have the Ballistic case on mine... inner shell (hard with soft corner), mid (all rubber), outter ( hard with belt clip)

What carrier works in WV, I use Verizon and lose service soon as i get in WV so thinking about switching to ATT and would like to make sure with others think about the better carriers in Ashland and surrounding areas like Welch, Pineville, Bramwell, etc!

I have ATT and I get service at Ashland Resort and several locations around the
wagon wheel , much better than verizon, but I don' get service everywhere.

A lot of the guys I know that have Verizon just get a AT&T Go Phone (pay as you go) for their WV riding. You've got it for emergency use as needed but of course you won't have use of this GPS program.

Verizon works so much better around home or in most of my travels (I'm in sales and travel the East Coast). WV is the only place I've seen AT&T work better than Verizon. Not bashing those who have AT&T, just stating that I've had them all and Verizon works best for me but I lose it a little past Bluewell going riding. It works at Hilltop though.
