The H/M crew was staying at Brawell Resort also last weekend and we talked to them and they are shooting for Memorial Day weekend.

I think we will ride it one day on the Spring Ride since no permits will be needed yet and of course no trail markers are up yet either.

and I'm getting homesick....

This makes me want to ride..right now. Had a great time at 5 points Saturday, then on Sunday I told my wife I wanted to go riding. She just smiled and laughed. She thinks it's funny that I take a 9hr ride with 4hrs driving, and want to do it all again the next day.

I can't wait for the spring ride.

I know sometimes after being gone 2 or 3 days riding and thinking about the money I have spent I sometimes feel guilty and think about getting out of riding with gas prices etc etc but then I say damn I don't spend money on anything else like cigarettes,alcohol,snuff,drugs,chewing tobacco I think you get the point Then I say you got to have something in life that you really enjoy and you need to live life now and not worry about the future which you can't predict anyways

Well said Bobby. You just described how I feel about it. I don't take big vacations, I don't smoke or anything. I do buy a little beer, but not that much. Wheeling is in my blood, and I can't stop. People say "I can't believe you don't have that Mustang on the road yet", "what do you mean you didn't kill a deer this year", and my personal favorite "there's no way I would pay half that for a machine, you are crazy" All of my closest friends just can't believe that I don't go to the beach. When they give me hell about that, I tell them that's a waste of time that could have been spent on a good weekend 4wheeling.

They just don't understand.
