Subject: New 2012 RZR XP VooDoo Blue March 30th 2012, 11:55 am
I finally found a video of a new VooDoo blue with power steering.
I wonder how that power steering will pan out for it. Either way, I just wanted to share this.

I've got that exact XP 900 on order. It's supposed to ship on April 4. Once I get some seat time I'll let you know how the the power steering works out.

The power steering is supposed to be great whether it is the popo unit, EZ Steer, or Uni-steer. I don't really think mine needs it but to read the reviews, I'd consider adding the EZ Steer for it's price point. I'd like to drive one first to feel the difference though.
I know Simoniz has power steering on his S. Maybe he can chime in with his report on the difference. I did drive his one night, but it was just around the parking lot at Ashland Resort. It did feel totally different. Probably a completely different story on the trail. Supposedly gets rid of most of the kick back.

TBONE, I didn't have power steering on ether of my 800s, but I put it on my xp900 and I like it (the xp seemed harder to steer without it) Ride Safe BIG HOSS

Yeah, the 2011's steering geometry was harder to steer at slow speeds. They changed it a litte in 2012 to free it up some. It's still a little stiff I guess, but I don't really notice it. I think the low kickback from bump steer in rocky terrain is where the power steering is supposed to shine.

I posted the above on March 30. Realized I never did report on the power steering. It's awesome.

For me, I will never have a machine without it! My last 3 machines have had it! The anti-kick back is the bomb!!
