| Took mine off (front and rear) two thousand miles ago. Shocks stiffened it back up.. Super ATV Phanthom..Just take it easy on the high speed turns. | |

| It's off our 450, and I love it, but it goes straight in the turns, and then when it does turn, it leans pretty bad. Tires stay on the ground in some pretty bad stuff, making for better traction. I've never tried the S without it. I would say it would be a rock crawler from hell, but you would have to slow way down for the turns. No matter how I tune my springs and shocks, my rzr tends to push in the turns due to the weight of the engine in the rear. So I figured it would be absolute junk in the turns without the bar. | |

| I have both of mine unhooked....yes it leans some but after you ride it a little you will get the feel of it.
The ride is ten times better for sure...
I ride the piss out of mine and get on with it in the turns....after you get use to it leaning you will learn where it scotches...when it scotches on the rear spring...it's hammer down baby!!!

| Just boiling down comments that I've seen and agree with - Rock crawling and technical, disconnect may be better. High speed trail riding - leave everything connected(that's why it's there). | |

| Drooop is the same. That is limited by shocks. I unhooked both of mine when it was a 50" but put the rear back on. Now that I'm sitting at 65" with xp shocks and aprings they are both gone and ridea like a caddy and will flex like a rock crawler. If your in Harlan this weekend look us up. About 30 of us are gonna be there. Got people staying on both sides of the hill. | |

| I put a super atv +6 kit on it. Just welded the lower shock mount tabs so it wouldn't bind. Rides great. | |

I agree...the sway bars hooked up will make it more stable for high speed riding...that's a no brainer...but the ride suffers more than it's worth to me. Now that being said...I do have mine at 60" in the rear and 59" in the front and have good shocks that are adjustable to my riding style, If mine was at 50-54" like it used to be then I would keep my rear swaybar connected.

| I think kymedic is saying that he bolted the top of the shocks in place, jacked it up, let the suspension droop as much as possible without having any axle binding, and then welded the bottom shock mounts on with the shocks fully extended. Doing so would keep you from having axle bind, and you would gain added up-travel from the longer shocks. End result should be the down travel of a S with a lift kit, only have another 2-3" or so of up travel.
Should be a heck of a machine!
