Benefit Ride

I'm holding a benefit ride for my neighbor and good friend Jeff Schmitt, He has been diagnosed with stomach cancer and this benefit is to help him with all the expenses of chemo and radiation and travel from Mineral Wells WV to Baltimore, MD. Come on out for some good riding in West By God Virginia and meet some great folks.

If your going to camp you need to call ahead and make reservations and for those just coming for a day ride there will be free parking just mention the benefit.

Sounds like a good time, I live about 5 miles on the road, and 2 miles across the hill camp copperhead is in my back yard.

I'll mark it on my calender and try to make it.

sounds like a ride i can make.. so is that place the H/M trails or outlaw? never been there..and do u know if there will be many people with campers or RV's? wouldnt mind getting something near the group..thanks for any info

Chris50, Any ides how many miles you will be riding ? Ride Safe BIG HOSS

BIGHOSS, Hope to get in 60 to 80 miles on Sat. and 50 or 60 on Sun. so that way everyone can get home at a good time.

I just talked to the owners of the camp ground and ask them to put all who are attending to put us in the same area to camp and they told me to tell all who is coming to call ASAP for reservations and mention that your with the benefit ride on the dates of May 19th and 20th. Camping fees are $15.00 a night for tents up to 3 people and $20.00 a night for campers and over 3 people per site a extra $2.00 per person.

I want to put my Thank You out for stroberts for all your help in this event and getting the word out to all in your area. Thunter we still need you also since you no your way around in these parts. Hope you all can make it. Also I would like to say the people on this site seem to care for others even if you don't no them,for instance guys-gals who need our pryers that's fantastic.

Leaving the camp ground @ 10am Sat. morning so I hope to see some of you there. Planning a good long ride that day following a short ride sunday morning.
