6-30-12 Ride Pics

Well it was one long day we started out by 9:30am from Matoaka with

We ran into downed trees most of the day so sometimes it was slow going having to clear the trails and dealing with the dust.We stopped by Riders Paradise for lunch but the power was out but they fired up the outside gas grill and fixed us some burgers & dogs.We then headed to RT10 to gas up at L & B pit stop but they were closed due to no power so we had to ride into Mullins to get gas and I talked to one guy from Beckley that came to Mullins just to get gas in his car so line to get gas was long. cpanderson gashed his rear tire so bad simoniz had to give him a ride back to his truck to retrieve his RZR so his day was done and simoniz loaded up and left also.So we were down to 6 machines.The ride turned into a night ride with even cutting tress in the dark and it kept getting worse so we finally said screw this and headed back to Matoaka.We got back just after 10:30pm and rode over 100 miles.

Had fun riding yesterday, It was nice meeting some new folks. The burgers at Riders Paridise were great considering the power situation. Sorry I jetted a little early but doing a day ride for me is 7 hours round trip.

Looks like Barkers Creek was a mess with down tree's. I'm sure ya'll did everyone a great justice and cleaned out a good path for everyone.

From what I saw yesterday every trail is going to have trees down so it is going to be a chore every time myself or anyone else rides for a while if they have a chainsaw if they don't they will be turning around a whole lot.Just imagine how much clean up the H/M trails are going to have 6-30-12 Ride Pics 583686
