Best way to go?

Subject: Best way to go? January 3rd 2013, 3:12 pm

I wanted to know would it be better to travel through Beckley to get to Matoaka or take 81 on down to Blaksburg and take 460 over? I am coming from near Fredericksburg Va. I am used to going to Beckley but I know from there its curvy roads to Matoaka. Your opinion is appreciated.

I never been Rt 19 to Rt 10 from Matoaka so I can't help you on that route but the route I posted off of Rt 460 is good roads.

I would just use mapquest for both ways and see which is quicker

Looks like the two routes are about the same on bing maps. Only if you use the Beckley route stay on I-77 until exit 14 instead of exit 20. That avoids most of the curvy roads. Check wv511.org for any construction, accidents etc. IMO

Thanks guys. If I ever make it to Matoaka I believe I will just go 81 to 460 and stay in Princeton. Thanks for the info.
