| Atv rider right now but am going to be in the market for a 4 seater in a year or two.
Do you guys think this thing is too wide/long for WV or will it do well.
I really like the wildcat with it's huge suspension travel and plush ride, but worry that it is too darn big for the east.

I don't think so since most trails are gas line roads which are made for a truck to get down for maintenance anyways. There will be some tight areas here and there but would do like I have done since 2006 riding a SXS I just carry a chainsaw and if I need to modify a section here and there I just cut what I need to and next time I come through there are no problems.

I really like the wildcat with it's huge suspension travel and plush ride, but worry that it is too darn big for the east. Everything is a tradeoff, including wheelbase. Long as it is, you would be able to run a tire over something pretty big instead of going around it without rolling over. Things you must go around is going to be a real pain, but when you get to the long choppy stuff that makes all the 2 seaters buck, you will be able to really haul and make up the ground you lost going around turns etc. If I had one, I would throw some big tires like 28s or bigger with a good clutch kit to compensate for the poor breakover angle. Plus, with all that suspension travel, you can just get some air under the front tires on the stuff that could get you high centered. Just have to learn how to drive it and you would be ok I bet. You just have to look at the trails you run most of the time. If they are all tight corners, you may want the Teryx4.

| Holy crap that thing is a bus!! The wheelbase alone on that thing is over 3 feet longer than the T4. I couldn't imagine trying to drive that thing around in WV. I feel like I can't get my T4 high enough with an 86" wheelbase let alone 124". I think the 2" high lifter kit and 27" or 28"s and the T4 will be as close to perfect as possible for a 4 seater. (After a cage chop that is). The HP and suspension would be great in the wildcat, but I just can't imagine that wheelbase around here. But like Hump said, its all a game of trade offs. | |
