| I bought Interco Reptiles for my new rhino and mounted them on ITP bead locks. in another thread here i was told to run 12 psi (f) and 14 psi (r).that is about what i ran in the bighorns on the now gone---bye-bye RZR S.
is there a difference in PSI setting for radials vs bias ply tires. here is what i found on the side walls of the two tires.
why would interco put 7 psi max on the side wall of the reptiles? it says " 15 psi MAX to seat bead and 7 psi max ". they are radials.
the big horns on the 550 grizzly say"do not exceed 36 psi to seat bead, see vehicle manufactures reccomended setting. i've been running them at 3-5 psi front and 5-7 rear on the Grizzly.

| That is strange that they say 7 max. Only thing I can figure is that is the max recommended presure for a quad. I know there have been some on here that have ran those, maybe they will give us their .02
You may just have to mess with the pressure some. Find a rock or something to put your drivers front against to see how much the sidewall bulges. The biggest factor in finding the right psi is your driving style and who you try to keep up with.
I ran 8-9 in my bighorns I had on the rzr s when I was slow crawling and only hammer down on the smoother trails. Ran 10 in them when I rode with the big dogs. With the rhino, you get a little more body roll putting more weight on the outside going around fast turns. I never ran less than 10 in the old 450 with 26 mudlites. Ran 12 in it when I was going to hold it wide open all day.

| I love the reps. I ran 27-14's on my Grizzly. I ran 5 lbs all around. I'm gonna put 25"s on my 570, I will run 6-7 psi in them. They are a pretty stiff tire so lower psi won't hurt them | |

| Thanks Timmi, anyone else have experience with the reptiles? i have 10 front now and 12 rear now on the rhino---is that tooo much since the tire says 7 psi max. i know my son ran them on his 450 grizzly and loved them but not sure what psi he ran. | |

| You would be carrying twice the weight of a quad, so you will need more psi. I ran 10 in my mudlites on the 450 with pretty good sidewall flex and tread contact. I ran them on my grizzly 700 I used to own with 5 psi, and they didn't have near the sidewall flex as they did with 10 on the rhino. | |

| Also seen on rzr forums that people were running 10 in the reptiles on there and liked them. | |

| I just checked Maxxis and ITP sites. Maxxis says 7 for bighorns with a given load at that psi. ITP says see vehicle owners manual.
I would start off with 10 or 12 and see what it does. No way would I run 7 unless I was rock crawling all day long with beadlocks going really slow.

| hey Jet if you decide you don't like the reps, I'll buy them :) 26"s would be a little heavy for my 570, but I love those tires

| Timmi, I'm gonna try them this weekend, if I have any issues I'll just run them on my grizzly. | |

| I had a set of 26 reptiles on my brute force 750
they rode pretty good, like timmi said they are pretty stiff and can run a lower pressure.
the thing i did not like about them was the weight.
geez they are very heavy tire.
but nice | |
