| Stay at Ashland Resort or Wild Willy's, or other places near Ashland or Crumpler where you will be in the middle of 3 trail systems.Indian Ridge,Pinnacle Creek & Pocahontas. That way you cAn ride all 3 systems in the area and never be as far away from camp if you stayed in Bramwell or Pineville.Plus most likely some members from here will be there riding the same time you are there and we can show you some Outlaw trails. | |

I also live in High Point and just bought a Maverick last week. I was looking for a trail to ride on that would allow side by sides. Also, curious how it all worked....can I just drive to the cabins on my side by side? Gas stations? How much extra fuel do I need to take?

| Yes you can drive anywhere with your machine. They have gas there if you don't want to bring your own
Congrats on your new maverick. . |

Congrats on your new maverick. . I am thinking about getting the gas tank that mounts on a bar across back of roll bars...it is 4.5 gallons. Have you bought any accessories for yours yet?

| 4.5 gallons is a little much. A couple gallons is all you need. Keep the weight down. As Bobby says, stay some where around Ashland. That way you want have to trailer your vehicle to different places. | |

Ill be honest....you don't need Gas for a maverick. They hold a lot of fuel. We will ride all day and half a tank will be left. Polaris rzr's need extra gas. I used to have one. If I had a cam am I would not carry fuel at all. Waste of space and waste of money buying all that stuff to haul it. You will never use it. |

| Another vote for staying at or near Ashland. I stay there in the spring and fall each year. Got a deluxe cottage for this fall. Moving up! | |
