| I carry most of what was mentioned which is probably way too much, but you never know. One thing I've been meaning to add is jumper cables as mentioned....or maybe a small jump box. I do carry a chainsaw and I have needed and used it. One other thing I carry is marine flares. Oh and I think I have 3 first aid kits. I kept adding them thinking I didn't have one.....lol. | |

| I see everyone thinks of the tire repair but if your taking a spare tire what are you going to lift the vehicle up with???
What is in your tool kit beyond generic tools (pliers, crescent wrenches, ect..) if anything? Do you take metric or standard wrenches & sockets? | |

| Heres one for thought, after some serious wheelin' , that good ole WV clay loves to plug the radiator and cause the engine to overheat. If I know Im gonna be in that stuff all day, I pack a little pump garden sprayer, holds a gallon or so, fill it up in a creek and blow the gumbo out of the radiator. Keep your tool cool! works good on windshields too. | |
