| I have had all bearings, tie rod ends and A-arm bushings done under warranty.. it mainly depends on service rep, "can he/she word it the right way" , mine does and help me all he can.. got new starter the other day, said he would put on polaris warranty, cost me nothing.. | |

| That's why I won't buy a warranty on a quad or sxs. The cost of a warranty that will deny you over tire size, wheels, riding conditions, etc, will buy a shit load of parts. | |

| I think it just depends on the dealer and if they want to help their customers who knows,I had a warranty on my first RZR I bought in 08 when they came out and took it in for something minor and they canceled my warranty for having 27" tires on it and a better air box. | |

| I've had several things such a cracked exhaust manifold (not a wear item)... ball joints, tierod ends never covered. They did replace my starter. Now I have transmission problems and we will see if they cover it. | |

| All I know is warranty is designed to cover manufacture defects. Not wear and tear items. If my ball joints or tie rod ends go bad I am not making a warranty claim. Its a wear and tear item. I just pay for it. Its a cost of doing this hobby.
If the motor blows, tranny fails, or diff fails and it was maintained then yea I will make the claim. |

| if you have the GE warranty with Polaris they should cover it. If it is the Assurant they will only do it one time. like Tbone said they don't cover wear and tear. That is why GE dose not do the Polaris Warranty's any more B\C they do cover the wear and tear. {and they ware losing money....} | |

| My whole thing with warranty is as Tbone said, the wear items shouldn't be covered after so many miles or whatever. The things that shouldn't wear out quickly like engine, trans, diffs, etc should be covered. Reason I never buy the ext warranty is if there is a problem with the engine or front or rearend, you are going to know it right away.
They need to say this is covered under the ext warranty, and these items are not. Make it clear instead of screwing people and giving them the thought that everything is covered. | |
