| Like to know what most think about getting extended warranty? Should I get it when buying a new Ranger? I know some say it is like insurance or a piece of mind deal. I have seen prices for a 3 year warranty for $550, and it seems to be $100 more for each additional year up to 5 years. | |

| I didn't get it on my Rhino but if I was getting the Rzr yes I would get it. For the Ranger, I haven't heard any issues so I am not so sure on that one. | |

| Pocket the money , any problems you have that should cover you for a while . The problem with the Extended warrenty is they can find to many ways to not do the work , you pay and they no fixxy . I would assume that at that point they prorate the parts also . | |

| I can't really vouch for the RZR too much because I don't have enough time/hours on mine to justify it. I didn't get it but I haven't had the first problem out of it. As for the ranger, I have run the crap out of it, used and abused it and never once had the first trouble of it it. I think polaris makes top notch stuff, but I guess it's all on how your gonna treat it. If you plan on going out and raising hell and balls to the wall all the time and put tons of hours/miles on it, may be worth it. I took my chances with mine and so far so good. | |

| I've been riding them for 8 years now , RZR is the only one so far that they have just dropped the ball one fixing the real problem . I can only imagine that there is either a new motor in the works , and a new air box direction with the 850 motor being turned in the oposite direction , just guessing . I wish they would put the 500 tried and tru motor in there also , as a alternative or the 600 , both of those had no problems . | |

| I bought the extended warranty for mine and it was money well spent. It has had 3 headgaskets, waterpump, axle, and a complete top end replacement. So all in all i have had about 3500 in labor and parts. | |

What were the claims. I didn't get the extended. I also figured the money I would spend on the warranty would cover alot. So far I haven't had any problems. | |

| My 2 cents...I got the extended warrant on the RZR. I ride it hard! I have broke many things and the costs of the repairs that they have covered 100% far excesses the cost of the warranty.... | |

| i have not decided on if im going to get the extended warranty or not. i have 850miles on it in less than 3 months so i got a few months to make up my mind. i have been keeping and eye out for dust in the throttle body but have not seen any yet. knock on wood. i just hate dealing with dealers on trying to get them to cover somthing. i would just rather do the work my self. that only leaves me to blame if its not put together right. i may end up going with a 2 or 3 year warranty. will just see how the next 3 months go. |

| Me dealer takes the machine in and fixes it (if it's covered) no questions asked. The ony thing that they have not covered so far is a leaky seal on the transaxle. but only charged me $34 to replace it. | |
