Only 1 group ride per year!

There will be no Fall Ride this year and only one big group ride per year from now on unless I change my mind in the future.I will post the dates when the Spring Ride will be in the near future so everyone can book a cabin or site for it.Sorry if you have already booked a cabin for this years Fall Ride so just cancel your reservations.

We will be going back to the way I use to do these rides not long ago and that is we will have only one group period.If you don't like riding with one big group and what all that goes with it then please don't come.I started doing these rides to give members a chance to meet new people on the site and see members that they only get to see at these rides and it has gotten a way from that in the last 2 years.So once again if you don't like the idea of everyone staying together the whole day and you would rather do your own thing then don't plan on coming to any of the future group rides.There will always be small group rides through out the year you can attend.

Darn, but I understand. Then just let us know when the Spring Rides dates are & I will be there. And I plan on making more of the trips this year with ya as well.

Nevertheless I met probably 30 or more people on this ride... I haven't met 30 new people in 10 years.
Thought everyone had a good time and sure there is going to be issues when you have over 70 machines and some pretty challenging riding/
yeah i broke off from the main group Sat and yea i did want to have two groups, in particular one that my per old body could make the entire ride but it didnt happen- but i still had fun and appreciated the overall experience... guess all good things come to and end?

Is there a reason you chose the spring ride over the fall?

There is a fall ride the first week of October that is being put on by Hot Rod Forum! I have a cabin booked in Ashland for that ride already.

Well then everyone can still go to two group rides a year. Problem solved!

That's kind of the way I looked at it. I am a member on both forums (WVSXS and HOTROD) I was not going on the Hot Rod fall ride because it as so close to the WVSXS ride and it would just be too expensive. As soon as Bobby decided to cancel the fall ride, I changed by reservation to go on Hot Rods ride. Still 2 rides, will still see a lot of the same people. Makes it easier on the people that are putting these things together to only have to plan a single ride each year and they can just go along for the ride on the other one. I would love to see BobbyD with a dirty windshield for a change!

I am going to Ashland on Thursday the 3rd and plan on riding Friday and Saturday and going home on Sunday. The only dates I have heard is the first weekend in October.
