can you still ride the haul road to pineville

was wondering cause we are heading to wv and some don't have hatfield permits any info appreciated  travis

Afraid not my friend. We went to Pineville last fall on the haul road & went through a security check point/gate outside Pineville.This was close to the coal yard at the bottom of the haul road. The guard did not stop us then, but on our way back from Pineville he did. He would let us back through & told us we had to go around. We tried the ball field gate to get around but the gate was locked. So we hit the Hatfield trail & got back that way.
