| Anyone using this filter, if you are, do you have a pre-filter on it? Is this a good filter for the dusty WV conditions? | |

| I have never liked K&N's after all I have read and heard about them letting dust by, even with the prefilter. Not first hand knowledge, just from research. | |

| Used them on both of my King Quads. I will never use them on an off-road machine again. From now on it is UNI or Twin Air. On the RZR I am using the stock paper filter with the Outerwears. | |

| Fine for gas road vehicles but in dusty environments we ride our quads and SxS's in I'm skeered of them. They are also not appropriate for diesels as I understand they pull too much particulate matter driven by high boost turbos. | |

| I use the K&N w/ outer wear, no snorkle, stock can, light grease and clamp to snug up the intake fit. Check and clean the can after every ride and nothing in the intake yet. | |

bubba, the 08s had a smaller filter that came with a prefilter. the 09s have an updated filter but they never changed the info in the owners manual. |

| Thanks All, I'm gonna get order a couple. It's gotta help. I'm running a K&N w/prefilter on my 06 Rubicon. It helps there to a point but if I ride Ocala when it try and usually it is , I still get a lot of small took in my air box when riding with a group. So I change my oil more frequently. Jim | |
