| I've only had my RZR about 3 months and only put about 350 miles on it and it already shredded the belt... polaris just told me that it was from not using low range when i needed to and it heated up a spot on the belt and weakened it but i have been pretty good about using low if i stay below 10 mph or for pulling.. i'm hoping it was just a bad belt b/c it's gonna get expensive having to replace every 350 miles... anyone have any input or suggestions that maybe i'm doing wrong in operation? | |

| I have over 5,000 miles on my RZR and I have only replaced the belt one time and it was still in good shape and I kept it for a spare.I don't play in mud holes which I think that will cause you problems which you can heat up your belt doing that. I'm not saying that's what you do but I'm just throwing it out there for info. | |

| I haven't really been in any really deep mudholes because i'm weary of getting the belt wet since i dont have a snorkel but i'm thinking maybe it was just a bad belt but we will see... thanks for the info! | |

| Hey bud, be careful when washing it. The exhaust snorkle is in a bad place. When your spraying under the bed alot of folks get water in through that snorkle. | |

| Polaris recommends you bring the rzr back in after 500 miles for the 1st service. 1 of the things they check is belt wear. It's not unusual for them to have to realign the belt/clutch. Take it down to Carolina Polaris High Point store & let Jason check it out. He's shimmed/readjusted a bunch of them. | |

| I think a guy named Heath did it. I went up there and took the belt and talked to Dustin Fulk whom i know personally and he gave me a discount on a new belt but i just hope i have better luck with this one if not i'm taking it up there for them to check it out because obviously there is something wrong if it does it again that soon b/c i dont put it through a lot of mud or anything really abusive or i haven't so far lol | |

| I had maybe 600-700 miles on my stock belt n it started slipping on me...but i creeped it to my house...I went out riding around n pretty much rode it about 6 or 7 miles back to my house on a burnt up belt...taking my time of course...but the very next day I bought a rzr s belt since it had more rubber n deeper grooves n haven't had a problem with it now. | |
