simoniz, host is a good choice, they make a good truck camper. I myself own a truck camper and I love it.

What brand do you own? I've looked at some Nance's in High Point. Just about the only dealer around to look at one that I know of.

I was amazed at how expensive they were....

i was thinking about getting one of them also but they are $$ . and im a big guy and think i would be cramped in one. so im just going to get and big inclosed trailer and do some work on it. if i can save up the money to buy one.

I had a 14' and 24' enclosed. My last 24', I was going to fix it up to a toy hauler camper but I would have almost the same $$ in it. Would still go that route if I could find one already done!

simoniz, I have a 1994 fleetwood carabou, it is set up at pinnacle creek atv campground with some slight mods.

simoniz, you can build your own truck camper yourself. My locksmith box on my truck is home made. I will post a picture.

simoniz, it goes on and off just like a truck camper.

simoniz, the box weighed 2200lbs empty, I build it extra sturdy. from what I learned from building this one I could get the weight down to 1800lbs.
