| Should be this year but I have no concrete evidence yet. BRP generally releases any new info in May. Until then, I wouldn't believe a thing you hear. lol The "rumors" I have heard so far will be two versions, sport and workhorse. Both should have the 990cc Spyder motor. BRP is very good at protecting it's investments. | |

| I'm sure it's going to be bad @ss. It would be sweet if they did a "X" package. | |

| No question it will be expensive. - ckbetz wrote:

I can't imagine it not. They have really stepped up the engagement time, now they call it the QE. The only truly negative I have ever heard about the visco is anyone that is into serious slow rock crawling, where it would have the potential to throw you when it engaged.

| I can't imagine the machine I'd have if I put another 6K in my Teryx. It was $8500 last year and I doubt $12,500 will touch much of anything these days. | |

| No doubt it will be high dollar. Just look at how much the quads cost. I love the Can Ams though, too bad the nearest dealer was 1 1/2 hours from me or I would have bought the Renegade instead of the RZR. am certainly happier with the RZR at this point. | |

| Yeah, I have no regrets.
I hurt my back back 3 months ago and will most likely be undergoing back surgery. I am able to drive the RZR, but operating any of my quads is near impossible currently. Wouldn't that be a kick in the nuts to be have a 12,000 + machine that you cannot play with.

| Normally they CAN AMs are more expensive, however, they do come with a lot of accessories installed.
Here is the real question:
If money were no object, would you still buy a first year knowing their track record with frames etc.. ?

| Ok let me put it this way: Would you buy a first year Can Am SxS?
I have a 3rd gen RZR and put some serious $$ into airfilter, parking brake and other stuff it should have come with from the factory, lost 2 months riding time from a top end rebuild etc.. I love my RZR and take care of it but is is a first year. I would not hesistate buying a S next time though.
I will probably buy a new machine next year so the question is:Can Am or 2011 S?

| I am not a big fan of buying a first year of anything but I have before and I probably will again at some point. I think if the Can Am SXS came out and I was ready to buy I would take a chance on it. I am a huge Can Am fan, I had an 800 that was just amazing. As for the frame issue you mentioned it wasn't as big of a problem as the internet made it seem. The problem came from people jumping them and staying on the throttle when they landed which caused the frame to torque. | |

| With a can am atv costing 11k, can you imagine the price of a sxs? Id say 16999. would not be unlikely, would i buy one, nope. Great motor, sorry frames and customer service goes like this. Oh you broke the frame, you must be abusing it. WARRANTY DENIED!!!!! It happened to my buddy, not once but 3 times!! on 3 different machines, 1 utility and 2 renegades. |

I would say you buddy WAS abusing it if he broke three. I ride regularly with 9 different Can Ams and have NEVER seen an issue with the frame and no one babies their machines.

Well they might want to take a real close look, they dont just break in two, they crack under the seat. This is a real issue and many many have broken. I guess there are a lot of different level of babying. BadRide, rides the shit out of his, but doesnt jump them or do anything a 11k machine should not be able to handle. Ive never read about a Honda, Yamaha or even Polaris atv frames breaking. Guess its just a Canadian thing |

| Ever hear of the RZR having issues with transmission breaking from jumping? I bought the frame brace advised by the dealer and have never jumped it | |

| These were not designed for jumping except lightly in soft sand areas. Do it on hard dirt and you can break a lot of stuff. Ive read several things about transmission case's being broken from impact with hard items like rocks and logs when you land. |
