| I thought I'd share this, luckily I thought something was up early. The other night I saw a Mastercraft wakeboard boat for sale locally on Craigs List. It was a 2007 model and had a price that was too good to be true. So I emailed the person and asked the price. In the meantime I noticed that the add was pulled, but I received an email with a story about why it was so cheap etc. etc... To make a long story short she wanted to me to send her the money and assured me that she would do the transaction through Ebay Motors. Well Ebay won't do any transactions that weren't from an item "won" in their auctions.
If anyone wants I can post the email history (including Ebay's response) but I just thought this was an interesting trap. | |

| She told me the boat was actually in San Jose and I'd have 7 days to inspect it after it was shipped to me, then ebay would release her the money...heheh | |

| What was amazing is when I did a search on ebay for "is this sale legitimate" they explained EXACTLY what the scam was. It was almost step for step, word for word. | |

| What's funny is you'll never get to see it until you send the money, then you have a chance to inspect it...yeah that's how I always buy stuff. | |
