Ok, I have site 67 on Saturday and Sunday night. I see Soystoys is on the list for site 67 also. Hopefully he has it for friday night only (for now), and they didn't screw up at Ashland. I guess if there's a screw up, I'll figure something out when I get there.

Maybe I'll end up being a homeless bum looking for a place to stay...

Your right, G-Bob, my wife "GiddyUpGirl" & others usually writes up stuff to submit to DW's.

It does seem like the more information you write-up and send in the more they'll use or print.

Take several different shots, groups, action, etc., then do a little write-up, it's sure to be a hit.

Yeah where are we going all week like towns so, I know what topo maps to load into my lowrance gps. Also, Bobby I think we have a friend coming down Friday night with his Teryx so that adds one more.

Everyone attending the Fall Ride please read the following:

To keep this large group ride organized and a good experience for all we must have a plan and not a bunch of chaos so here is the plan we must follow.


The ride times again are.

Friday 10:00am
Saturday 9:00am
Sunday 9:00am

We will leave on time everyday and no one will be sent around the campground looking for anyone that is not ready and lined up at the start times listed so be ready & on time as we will not let 1 or 2 people hold up 70+ Side X Sides.If a Side X Side has a mechanical problem and it can't be fixed in a quick manner the ride will continue and we will have 2 people to help out the broken SXS and get it to a place where it can be recovered by a truck & trailer.We will stop for breaks and once the last SXS comes to a stop we will have 15 minutes for break.Once the 15 minutes is up you will hear an air horn and we will roll in 2 minutes from the sound of the horn.We will stop for a 30 minute lunch break on the trail so bring anything you will need to eat and drink.I would suggest save your drinking for back at camp in the evening as you will have all evening to do your drinking and we won't be stopping enough for people to be pissing every 10 minutes...lol If you must drink do it in moderation so you won't be ruining someone Else's day or experience.Keep in mind we have people driving a long ways to ride and ride is what we will do.We need everyone to keep up with the person in front of you and we need each person to be 100% sure the person riding behind them knows which way to go at any & every fork or intersection in the trail.We need everyone to try and avoid from playing and holding up the group by that I mean don't go off into a big mud hole or start hill climbing on your own and end up being stuck etc and holding up the group.If we have time once we get our ride in and we are heading back to camp we can make time for playing if time allows it.I would like to see us get in a minimum of 50 miles each day so to do that it takes everyone's help by doing what I just talked about.I hope no one has a problem with this plan but I think it's fair and it will ensure that everyone gets in some good riding.If anyone has any ideas that would be better or any suggestions let's hear them.


Each day everyone must be lined up at the Stop sign leaving the campground and ready to roll at 10:00am on Friday and 9:00am on Sat & Sunday and if you have been to these rides before you know we roll on time so I would suggest being lined early in case anyone has some questions and we can space the SXS with radios evenly through the pack.The plan will be to be back at camp as close to 5:00pm as possible so everyone can get their machines ready for the next days ride and clean up and eat and then socialize around the community campfire at site O.F 1 .If you don't have a rear view mirror I would get one as you must never leave the person behind you at any intersection or fork on the trail.

Saturday we will head to Barkers Creek and do a nice loop off of the Creek through some nice wooded trails and come back and finish Barkers Creek and once we get back to Herndon Heights rd we will see what time it is and go from there.I know there is only a small number of us that have been through Barkers Creek and we have never rode it on a group ride.I don't like riding the hardtop to get there but I think it will be worth it.



Sunday is up in the air depending on how many is left to ride we may do a big loop to Welch and back.

I'm not sure yet what time I will be there on Thursday but I will need to get one person to go out and follow me and scout a trail that has been recently logged before we take the group through to make sure we can still get through in case we want to ride it.

Some more for ones that have never been to one of our rides.We will be stopping a few times each day for me to set up a camera for us to all be videoed going through a good section of trail so when we stop it does not mean we are taking a break...lol So stay in your ride as it will only take a few minutes before we are rolling again and I will have my son Dylan stay with the camera and have the last person in line with an empty seat pick him up so we can keep rolling.When we stop for a break you will see the person in front of you getting out of their SXS and I will announce it over the radio too so the ones with a radios will spread the word.
