| On the spring ride I saw a few RZR's that had H.I.D headlights. I want to know where they got them and I want to see pics of them installed. I would like to add them and wonder if its hard to install and will it melt the plastic lense?
Does anyone know? |

Does anyone know? Just go by Carolina Polaris there in High Point. They've got a orange madness S on the showroom with a nice set of HIDs on it. Dustin will showem off to ya & fix you up with a set of them. Remember they are sponsors of this forum & any wvsxs member gets some nice discounts .

| I got the 888 bulbs at 5k and like them. The stock bulbs are 886. I just checked. I believe the 880 covers it. | |

| gosh I ordered mine from DDM yesterday. I ordered 35w 12000. After reading more I think I ordered it a little too blue! haha
Does anyone have 12000? Are they ok for visibility??
I tried to call and email them to change the order to 8000 but have not heard back.
If they ship those 12000k ones, thats going to be a sight at night! |

If they ship those 12000k ones, thats going to be a sight at night! Some of us rode with Big Mike & Flash Gordon of (rzrforum) & from California back @ Easter weekend. There were several rzrs in that crowd that had some really bright blue HIDs even in the day time. Don't know what brand HID or bulbs they were running but they show was bright!

| I ended up ordering from DDM and the true test of these will be when that front end of the RZR dips and goes under water as it hits a river. Also when the mud goes over the hood, that will be a good test!
I hope they make it! |

I ordered mine May 15th and have not heard a thing yet. I think you can check your order status on-line. If all else fails, call them. They weren't the best/or worst delivery in my experience. They were responsive to after-order problems.

| Can you buy just the bulbs. I have 2 sets at home but they are the wrong bulbs. I would like to put a set in my Ranger. I already have them in the RZR. | |

How long total did it take you to install them? Did you need any extra things that they dont tell you about? I called DDM and I am on backorder! Who knows when they will show up! |

| it takes to time at all to install. deciding on where you are going to mount the ballast and run the wires takes the most time. i mounted everything under the hood. the only thing you need is about 3 or 4 foot of wire to run to the battery. but you may not need it if you run the wires different. |

| Yea I think the best spot for the ballast is under the hood. Hopefully mine will show up in time for the fall ride! :) |

| That's how I did mine. Under the hood and I didn't need a power wire. It was just a plug and play ordeal. I used some wire ties to make them neat. | |

| You have to mount the ballast to where factory wiring accommodates the install. I made cradles to put them under the dash. They'll probably do OK on the other side of the bulkhead. | |

| Cool deal! I saw one set of ballasts under the hood that were just stuck on with double sided tape. I think that will be a good idea for mounting. |
