| I was wiring some lights tonight and the wires the lights came with are small as heck. I couldn't really strip the plastic cover with normal splicers. Had to splice with my finger nail. These wires would not hold well with the crimpers using male and female connectors. Any ideas on some other connector out there that will grab them better? |

| Tbone, sounds like you are hooking up some small LED's. Do like Bubba said, you can actually get them at Home Depot or Lowes also. They are small, round connectors that press to make the connections. | |

| Well I am trying to run a small wire to a bigger wire. Will that connector still work that way? |

| Just cut the larger wire down much smaller than you need, so you only get a few strands to match up. The LEDs have very little draw, thats why the small wires. | |

| Here you go T, the ones I have have more of a red center but its the exact same thing. If you can't find any for some reason I have a box of them at the house, you can come by and grab a bunch. | |

| Go WV redneck on this job and just use some black electrical tape. You can fix anything with it, as long as you use enough of it. Oh, and get 3M tape, all other brands are just plain no good. | |

| I got those connectors but they do not work when your trying to go from that little wire to a bigger wire. I guess I am going to have to solder them. |

| Strip the smaller wire twice as long as normal and then bend it to double up the size. This will allow the connector to grap the wire. |
