| Sorry to hear that mark, I lost my mom to cancer in 97. One of the things that help me get thru it was people letting me know that they cared. plus thinking of all the things that I did for my mom and all the good times we had. | |

| Mark, Our prayers will include you , your family, and your mother. I to lost my father to cancer about 10 years ago, and my father-in-law last Friday to liver cancer. Maybe someday a medical guru will find a cure for all cancers and cancer will be meet the same fate as polio.
The minister at my dads funeral told a little story about my dad and God that really helped me cope with loosing him. He said that God and my Dad went for a walk together down the country road where my Dad grew up, when it began to storm and was pouring down the rain. Dad told God, "Well I better head home now". Gods reply was "Don, why don't you come to my house it is closer, I'll take care of you". Moral of the story, when life rains on you, you can always count on God to take you in. | |
