| The Bowling Alley you pass when you are heading to the Sterling Drive In is where there are a lot of trails.I have never been behind Wal Mart but I'm sure there are trails there too I would guess. | |

| Last Thanksgiving weekend Wacker,Sparky and I rode all back in behind Walmart one day. We went in around east vivian. the elevation changes from 1600 to 2400 ft and was pretty fun and scenic. We ran into some local hunters that warned of a gate that was locked and the atv's would make it under but my rzr wouldn't so we took their directions and advice, backtracked just a bit and went down the hill and came out just east of and into the Walmart parking lot. I am not sure where the bowling alley is but we as usual ended up at Sterling drive inn for lunch and met some locals who were telling us there was all kinds of trails back in behind Walmart. I took a few pics above route 52. | |

| Awesome pics! I am always amazed on how much coal comes out of WV and am always interested to see a mine. Hopefully one day on a ride I will see one! |

| Hey Slopoke, How far is this hill you came out of from WalMart? Are we talking a few miles or walking distance? Man I appreciate the info and nice pics. There are a lot of people that ask me about these trails, but I just don't really have a clue about em. Figured I'd ask the experts on here. I'm sure there are more people on here wanting to know more about the "WalMart Trails" | |

| Almost walking distance....but much funner in the rzr. You come off of the trails just southeast and behind Walmart off of Carter Street almost at the rr tracks crossing. | |

| Hey Guys,
My husband and I rode those trails behind walmart. You can enter the trail by going over the rr tracks and the hardtop road ends and you'll be on a dirt road. It leads to Bantam Market at Gary. There are so many trails and how to get to them I can't name them all. They are really nice trails. I know some of them lead to Big Creek..... | |
