| for all you electrical people .... I had a tbat problem , three wires were rubbing on the shifter cable under the motor ( 2 were completly in two) , I fixed that problem but now I wonder do I need to recalibrate the tps . The rzr runs fine but when it gets hot and I romp down on it sometimes it just falls flat on its nose ! If you stop and let it sit for a little bit 15 to 20 mins. in will run fine again till it get hot again . any suggestions ? also Im in Rock Hill S.C. and I need a good dealer to work with that is close by .
THANKS FOR THE HELP GUYS AND GIRLS ! | |

| You said that you had 2 wires that were broken. What was the machine doing before you noticed you were having problems, that led you to finding that and fixing the 2 broken wires if you don't mind me asking? | |

| Not sure if it's your tps or not but it's not that hard to calibrate. They sell a kit on ebay that makes it easier if not, you can do it with a volt meter.

| Yup,Recalibration of T.P.S. ought to take care of it.Once the T.P.S. loses signal reference voltage, all of its operating parameters get garbled.Do you have the shop manual for it?What year is it? | |

| The kit on e-bay is definitely the way to go as opposed to trying to follow the shop manual procedures if what i read about the product is true. That was a very informative and valuable post by yellowzx01 about that kit.I didn't know that even existed. | |

| If the calibration of T.P.S. should happen not to work,i would start looking at the voltage regulator getting hot and or its connections tight. And i would also check to make sure that the main ground on your frame underneath seat is free of any rust at the connections to the frame and all connections tight. And definitely eliminate all these possible simple causes before checking out fuel pump.I would think that a faulty fuel pump would be bad at all times and not just when things get hot,but it is possible i reckon. | |

| You may want to make sure also that your fuel tank vent tube has not become clogged or something as well. | |

| In the meantime check your engine codes and see what shows up.A code 22 means TPS i do believe.and this code will show up if the tps is broken or out of calibration.Just turn your key on and off 3 times to scroll through them if there are any.Anytime i notice my idle sounds funny,i check that first. | |
