No problem.....must have missed that one. Some are using the 450 shocks in the rear also, with added brackets from Hot Rod.......... | |

| A friend has added a long travel kit and is using the stock shocks which are very stiff. Will these work for him also? If not, is there an alternative cheap shock? |

| Got the new shocks installed on the front yesterday. I had a Super ATV 3" lift installed which I removed. I left the sway bar relocation bracket in place and it worked out well. I had 12"gc before the shocks, reomved the lift and installed the shocks and I still gained 1/2"gc. Took it out for a quick ride and it seems much smoother in the front. Hope fully I'll get the rear done this week. This does bring up another question. What settings (compression & rebound) are most of you running on the ltr shocks? |

| Got the new shocks installed this weekend. Left the setting the way they came stock and took a short ride. Feels much smoother now from what I can gather from a 20 min ride in the power lines. Removed the 3" lift and still gained 1/2" of ground clearance. I left the front sway bar relocation bracket on which allowed the suspension to drop all the way down adding some suspension travel with no CV bind. Had to drill new holes in the rear lower arms to accommodate the new longer shocks. Here again gained 1/2" ground clearance and suspension travel with CV bind. I wish I had measured the suspension travel before and after but just guessing it's prolly 1-1/2". Overall, for $400, added adjustable reservoir shocks and gain suspension travel and GC..not too shabby. I will get a better feel for it in a couple weeks when we go to CAW. |
