| David, I have 5pt H style and wouldn't want anything else. I only wear the antisub (crotch strap) part every now and then but it really helps keep the belts from riding up. I didn't like the Y style because it would always rub on your neck. You will be happy with either 4 or 5 pt harnesses but be SURE to get it with pads and make sure that the pads are sewn in. | |

| I have the Super ATV 4 point harnesses. There are padded and work great, especially for $100 for a pair. You can get them in a latch style or a regular seat belt buckle (much easier to use).
I am use to using cam-lock 5-way harnesses in drag racing, IMHO 5-way are overkill for UTVs. |

| Thanks to all for input. Been shopping on line, super atv has the best price, now which type belt or latch (comfort?), and can u add sternum belt, AND antisub belt if they are the best buy at 100.00 for 2 belts everything else is 1 belt for 95.00 or more. | |

| I am using beard 5 point harnesses. They are really nice and comfortable. They are more expensive though. Padding is really thick and they come with a sub belt and sternum strap. You can get htem in 2" or 3". Quality is really high on them.
The Super ATV ones are nice I put them in a friends RZR and they work out really well for him! They offer 2 different belts. One is a Y type with the shoulder belts sewn into the lap belt, it makes it easier to get on and off. The other is a H type where you have to put all 4 pieces in the lock to latch it.
I think any you do will be an upgrade over the stock shoulder strap. If you do roll it with just the stock strap on you will know why lots switch out to harnesses. My shoulder was sore for a while when I rolled mine with the stock belt.

| I have Simpson "Off Road" H type(combines two hitch points into one). Used them in road racing, been upside down in the RZR and wouldn't use anything else. The more you use crotch belt tension the more you feel connected to the machine. This translates to more confidence in going quicker or doing more technically difficult stuff. Don't have to worry about falling out. | |

| Thanks about super atv, was considering them for the and was going to add sternum + antisub (crotch), but hesitant about it. It will cost double that of super Atv versuses simpson but I really have to agree I think Simpson is the better chose. On another note I've (HRR) and I have really modified my rzr. Everyone needs to double air filter their rzrs', also the vent line from the valve cover to the air box intake comes from Polaris with a 1 inch cut in it to breath in winter it has a white marker lone on it. Change it water n dust n debris can get in. Run a line up preferably in the cab with a cleanable filter (about 2 inches wide n 3 inches tall) u can get one from advance for 10 dollars. Holz big bore kits are awesome!!!!!! | |

| I went with the one from Dragon Fire Racing can't say enough good things about them, I've had the S on her lid a couple times now and they keep you nice and secure, well until you pull the release and fall out on your head :) | |

My kids bought me the wide set with shoulder pads and I added the narrow set without out pads for the passenger seat since almost no one wants to ride my style(shut up HHR). What I've done to speed up getting belted is to add a light elastic cord to the crotch belt and hang it from the tilt mechanism(so you don't have to fish for it). I asked Bobby D to give us a 2 min warning before we move out and that's OK. But sometimes its 1,2,3,go.

| Almost forgot if your a member over on RZR Forums.net they give you a pretty good discount on the Dragon fire units and I picked my crotch strap up from summit racing. Haven't used the little bar from dragon fire but Holz has has a little strap to go around the harness at the roll bar to keep them from sliding apart on the bar it's like $6 bucks or something and looks better than the 550 cord I was using. | |

| I also have the Simpson 5 point, and I wpuldn't trade them for any thing else. I got mine from a neighbor's sprint car. They have to put in new belts every few years, and they just throw the old belts in the corner. Can't beat the price!!! | |

| I have the DJ safety 4 points from sidebysidesports.com. They are a 3" padded belt with a clip for the sternum strap. I love these things, very comfortable. If you are a member of RZRforums you get a 10% (15%?) discount, when I bought mine 2 years ago I only gave $73 each. Word of warning, DO NOT get the cheaper ones with velcro instead of a clip on the sternum strap...they SUCK!!Link to the DJ safety belts: http://www.sidebysidesports.com/djsa4ha.html | |
