| Cheaply made, piss poor straps...don't waste your money. If you want them to strap down gas can or coolers maybe but do not use them to tie down your SXS. |

| Here's what I use. I've had them all, and they all suck. These have done the best for me. The ratchet part is made very well out of decent steel, you can tighten these down real tight and they will hold. The strap material is much better than any I have had so far, but are showing some wear after one year of use. I use one on the front and one on the rear, and I will buy them again when the time comes.

| For the past year or so I've been using Pingle "Big Daddy Deluxe" straps. They are the best I've tried so far. Not cheap ($50 for a pair) but are worth it as far as I'm concerned.

| I've tried a bunch of different cheapo's and have resorted to some axle straps I had for my jeep, they are a ratchet strap and have a padded end with hooks that go around the axle. I have never broken one of these, not even with the jeep on the trailer for about a 6hr drive to PA. They are also only about 6' long.
One of the secrets of ratchet straps is DO NOT LET THEM CHAIF/RUB on anything! It will cut right through them if they do. | |
