| They closed their doors today. I cannot believe it. They were always busy when they were open. I enjoyed grabbing breakfast there. I hate to hear that. |

| It has actually changed management several times. They are only busy on weekends and then only for a couple of hours in the am and a couple of hours in the pm. If yo do the math there just isn't enough busy time to make it profitable.
Back when the sisters (who now run the restaurant at PC campground) told me that very few locals would eat there because they don't like HM or anything associated with it LOL.

| I would like to see Ashland put in some sort of quick pizza or sandwich shop, then breakfast could be biscuits of some sort.
The hours for the coal store just did not suit us, seems like they were always closed in the evenings.

There was a total of 8 people in the dining room and our group of 4 out front. We ended up going to the Ashland store and buying the microwave breakfast biscuits. According to the Ashland store they are looking to take over the cafe becuase of all the complaints. They should just have something there sort of a deli / take out they would make a killing.

It don't make any sense to me!! With the economy and the condition of the area up there it looks like they would be working their butts off to make that place work!

| I want something at the campground. I like to get my shower then sit down and eat and not have to get back in the dirty machine and ride somewhere to eat. We cook all our meals but if something was at the campground we would get food there at times also. | |

| I got a newsletter and it said the Ashland General Store closed too.
Not the store at the Ashland campground,
but the one in the same building as the Coal Creek Cafe.
