Cell service suppliers

Have just started looking into new cell service ( really going to change a lot of stuff ) , Does anyone have Sprint and how to you like/dislike it . I currently have AT@T and it is time for a change .....

Hey Drew I had sprint up here. I never had any problems, but have switched to verizon.......

In the past 5 years I have had sprint, Verizon, and AT&T.

I loved Verizon coverage area but it dropped calls the most. Finally when it dropped a call when I was in an important teleconference, I had to get rid of it. I could not operate in business with that service. It would drop ten times a day.

Sprint was ok. Dropped some calls but nothing like Verizon. It was the best in dropped calls. It was rare. The coverage is great but a hair shy under Verizon.

AT&T is good for me. It does have some dropped calls. Not as good as sprint but nowhere near as bad as Verizon was for me. At the time AT&T had iPhone and that's what I use. Also AT&T works where we ride. Being a 24-7 dispatcher that's what I stick with.

Maybe it was the phone with Verizon. I know when dad cussed me out and said to get rid of it.......that's when it was gone

Tbone...have you looked into the satelite phones..you can buy or rent them ..just use it where your cell phone does'nt work....google them and check them out....

Nah I don't need them I use AT&T works fine for me

I have had them all and Verizon works best for me...the only thing about verizon is you have to update your roaming capabilities every 30 days by dialing *228...or else you will get dropped calls....also the make of the phone has a lot to do with it...

I have had Sprint in the past and wasn't happy with them at all, Verizon has the fewest dropped calls for me, AT&T sucks around here as you know despite what T'bone says LOL. Its just my personal experience but I RARELY drop calls but anyone I talk to on AT&T does..............as you know LOL

us cellular has been good not as good coverage as verizon have both so when one don't get out the other will no dropped calls on us cellular that i can remember

Thanks guys , it looks like service is mixed , maybe its the phones that make the differnce , my wife want a 4 G phone , I am happy with a flip but want the military grade . Verison's one is like water resistant for 15 min at like 15 foot and just has a rugged feel ,and also is GPS enabled ( I know not to expect much but.... nice feature for a flip ) .

Drew, don't let Verizon fool you. They do NOT have 4G in this area yet. Its coming but its not here. You can get a 4G phone but it will not be 4G service at least for a few months (I think the last I heard was the end of the year)

when we rode Ashland only the AT&T phones worked, I had some dead spots but for the most part it worked, one of our riders had Sprint his never worked and 3 had Verizon and they used my phone to make calls.

I have T-mobile...it picks up at Asheland really good.
