Lexan Windshield clean-up

Subject: Lexan Windshield clean-up October 27th 2011, 10:18 pm

My lexan windshield was trashed after fall ride, could hardly see through it. I used water to rinse, than glass cleaner... still millions of scratches that made it difficult to see through.... after yet another trip to autozone for buffer heads it came out real good, you can actually see through it... this is what I used \

Meguiar's/10 oz. PlastX clear plastic gel cleaner and polish

Plexus is good for just cleaning it.

I've heard some people at work talk about cleaning the outer lens on their weld helmets with that PlastX. I will try some on my windshield and see what it does. It's more of a haze than scratches on it. I had forgot all about this stuff. Lexan Windshield clean-up 332799

while I had the buffer out, I also did my truck headlights... they arn't yellow now.. LOL

Look on the HM trail that starts at the Ashland entrance and try to polish the windshield that I left at the top of the mountian!!!! Then we will see how it works!!!

Sounds like what happened here was you let rayray get inside your head, and you started bump drafting the sxs in front of you and driving agressively. That will ruin a windshield fast! Lexan Windshield clean-up 944472

Bubba...the only one they make for a rhino has the frame around it and has the safty glass in it...I think it's like around 400.00. Lexan Windshield clean-up 335288
